Oil change in Wasaga Beach, at the cottage or at home
Year-round residents and seasonal properties both. Full synthetic from $124 plus HST, at your driveway.
Booked year round, and easiest to get in the off season.

Wasaga Beach has two vehicle populations, and they need almost opposite things from an oil change.
There are the vehicles that live here all year, doing the Mosley Street and Main Street runs, the drive to Collingwood or Stayner for work, the winter roads. Those rack up ordinary mileage and need an ordinary schedule.
Then there are the vehicles that arrive in May and sit. A car that does a few thousand short trips over a beach season and spends the rest of the year parked is harder on oil than the odometer will ever tell you. Oil absorbs moisture while it sits, and short hops never get the engine hot enough for long enough to boil it off again.
We service both, and we will tell you honestly which situation yours is in.
The low-kilometre trap. The most common thing we hear at seasonal properties is that the car cannot need an oil change because it has barely been driven. Low mileage on a vehicle that sits is usually the argument for changing the oil, not against it. Age and moisture degrade oil whether the wheels turn or not.

- Stonebridge and Sunnidale
- East end and Allenwood

If you are closing a property up for the season, a fresh oil change before it sits is worth more than one after it wakes up. Used oil holds acids and moisture, and five months of that in a cold engine is not what you want.
Wasaga Beach oil change questions
How much does an oil change cost in Wasaga Beach?
$124 plus HST for a car or sedan, $144 for an SUV or light truck, $164 for European vehicles and $244 for diesel. The filter, the 21-point inspection, the fluid top-ups and the old-oil disposal are all included.
My car only gets driven in the summer. How often does it need an oil change?
Once a year is the usual answer, timed rather than measured. Oil picks up moisture and degrades while a vehicle sits, and short beach-season trips never get the engine hot enough for long enough to drive that moisture off. Low kilometres on a seasonal vehicle is not the same as clean oil.
Can you service the car at a rental or seasonal property?
Yes, as long as you have the owner’s permission for work to be done on the driveway and the vehicle is parked safely. Tell us the arrangement when you book so there are no awkward conversations on the day.
How far is Wasaga Beach from your base?
Roughly 35 to 40 minutes northwest of Barrie. We schedule Wasaga Beach in blocks, usually combined with the Collingwood run, so you will be offered a choice of days rather than a same-day slot.
Do you come out in the off season?
Yes. We service Wasaga Beach year round, and the quieter months are genuinely easier to book. If you are getting a vehicle ready to sit for the winter, that is a good moment to have the oil changed rather than leaving used oil in the engine for five months.
