What is in the 21-point inspection
- Engine oil level and condition
- Coolant, brake, power steering and washer fluid
- Belts and visible hoses
- Battery terminals and charge state
- Air filter and cabin filter condition
- Visible leaks around the engine and underside
- Tyre pressures on all four, adjusted to spec
- Tread depth and uneven wear patterns
- Wiper blade condition
- Exterior lights, front and rear
- Exhaust condition where visible
- Suspension and steering components where visible
The findings go into a written digital report that we send you. If something needs attention we tell you plainly and you decide what to do about it.
What we do not do
We are an oil change and light maintenance service, not a workshop on wheels. We do not do brakes, exhaust work, suspension, engine diagnostics, or anything that needs a hoist, a torch or a bay.
If the inspection turns up something outside that scope, you get an honest description of what we saw and a recommendation to have a shop look at it. We do not quote for repairs we are not equipped to carry out, which is a large part of why people stop using drive-through chains.
Fleets and multi-vehicle properties
Multiple vehicles at one address are serviced in a single visit and billed on one invoice, with a separate health report for each unit. That applies to a household with three cars just as much as to a yard with a dozen vans.
For recurring fleet work we set a schedule and come back on it, so nothing quietly drifts past its interval.
Services questions
What is in the 21-point inspection?
Fluid levels and condition, belts and hoses, battery terminals and charge, tyre pressures and tread depth, wiper condition, exterior lights, visible leaks, filter condition and the general state of the underside we can see while draining. You get the findings in a written digital report, not a verbal upsell.
What oil do you use?
Full synthetic that meets your manufacturer specification for your engine, and an OEM-grade filter. European vehicles get European-spec synthetic carrying the correct manufacturer approval, which is why that tier is priced separately.
What if my engine takes more than 5 litres?
Extra oil beyond 5 litres is $15 per litre, charged only for what the engine actually needs. Most cars and many SUVs come in at or under 5 litres. Larger and diesel engines often do not, and we will tell you before we start rather than after.
What do you not do?
We do not do brakes, exhaust, suspension, diagnostics or anything needing a hoist or a torch. We are an oil change and light maintenance service. If the inspection turns up something outside that, we tell you what we saw and you take it to a shop. We do not sell repairs we cannot perform.
Can you do more than one vehicle at the same address?
Yes, and it is the most efficient way to use us. Multiple vehicles at one property are done in a single visit on one invoice, which is why fleets and multi-car households book this way.
